From Stray Bus Driver to NZ General Manager – Meet Taxi

Stray is stoked to announce the recent appointment of Brett Hudson as General Manager of Stray New Zealand.

Brett, otherwise known as “Taxi”, took on the role following Heather Bailey’s resignation. A well-established member of the team, he began his Stray career as a driver in 2005, before progressing quickly to Head Driver and Operations Manager thereafter. Talk about climbing the ranks!

The nickname “Taxi” came from a slight mishap during Brett’s very first training trip. He mistakenly jumped on the wrong Stray bus and had to get a taxi ride back again! Whoops…

Brett has a huge passion for people and New Zealand, and he plans to build upon the great success the company has achieved over the past 12 years.

“Stray is an amazing product. I’m really excited for this new opportunity and ready to take on the challenge with our amazing team.”
