The friendly whanau (family) of Kohutapu Lodge at Stray’s Lake Aniwhenua overnight stop recently launched a new ‘Plant a Seed’ initiative as a way to say ‘thank you’ to their international visitors and encourage them to carry a positive message further on their travels.
Early morning on Tuesday 12th September, a group of Stray staffers walked into the Auckland warehouse that serves as the headquarters for the Eat My Lunch program as part of our initiative to Make a Difference!
On Friday 11th August, the lean, mean, stair-climbing machines from Team Stray each smashed out the 1,103 steps to conquer Auckland’s Sky Tower, the tallest freestanding structure in the Southern Hemisphere, in the Step Up Sky Tower Challenge. Here’s how they fared:
Last week on one of the first sunny days of spring, 15 of the Stray Head Office team ventured to the northern edge of Auckland to Atiu Creek Regional Park on a mission to plant as many native trees as possible with local non-profit organisation Conservation Volunteers.
