With the start of a new year, Stray says goodbye to long-serving staff member and general legend Clint ‘DC’ Maskell and congratulates Oliver ‘Ollie’ Allum on stepping up into a new role as the Australasian Sales Manager within the company.
Clint Maskell, who held Stray’s Product and Australasian Sales Manager role, is taking on his next big challenge in the tech space as the General Manager of Travlr New Zealand. Since his start as a Stray Driver Guide over 12 years ago, Maskell has always championed Stray’s core values and added significant value in his various roles as the New Zealand, then Australasia Sales Manager and most recently in the Product Development Manager role. Although sad to lose such a long standing staffer, the team congratulates him on his new appointment and looks forward to a continued relationship in the new role.

Stepping up into the position of Australasian Sales Manager is Oliver ‘Ollie’ Allum, who after 3 years working for Stray has demonstrated a level of competency, commitment and passion that made him a natural fit for the role. Having joined the Auckland Travel Shop in 2014, Allum transitioned into the New Zealand Sales Representative in August 2016. As Australasian Sales Manager, Allum will oversee the wider New Zealand and Australia sales team by supporting the capable regional Sales Representatives:
Auckland, NZ: Rachel Farrow
Melbourne, AUS: Raymond Atchison
Sydney, AUS: Darcy Sabourin
“It’s extremely satisfying to see staff grow in our environment at Stray,” says CEO Brett ‘Taxi’ Hudson.
“I wish DC the very best,” Hudson says. “It will be an exciting future for him and likewise Ollie with his new role. We are very lucky to have such a talented sales team and I have no doubt they will all take this opportunity to continue with the amazing customer service they are known for.”
With Maskell’s departure, the responsibilities of the NZ Product Manager role will in the interim be shared by Hudson and Operations Manager Karen Wickson until a new Manager is appointed.
